We'll be grilling at White Birch Lodge for lunch, and there will be a Mexican food truck on-site at Ethanology during the evening. There are also a handful of restaurants within walking distance of White Birch Lodge (see "Things to Do"), and downtown Elk Rapids is just a couple miles away. Every unit will at least have a coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge, and some are equipped with full kitchens. The nearby Village Market should have everything you need if you plan to do some cooking.

There will be light bites available at White Birch Lodge throughout the morning and early afternoon, and we've got you covered for dinner.

We'll have a very casual send-off brunch in the morning. Think coffee, leftover cherry pie, etc.

Up to you! If you're arriving via plane and hope to do some exploring further afield (see "Things to Do"), renting a car in Traverse City would be a good idea. If you anticipate mostly hanging out at White Birch Lodge, you should be fine without one. All events will take place either within a one-mile mile radius of White Birch Lodge or on-site. There will be bikes available if you want to take a spin into town, and there will be a shuttle offering transportation between White Birch Lodge and Ethanology on Friday.

Think long, below-the-knee dress/jumpsuit or suit. Feel free to have fun with it, but don't wear a tuxedo, and please avoid shades of white. Everything will be outside and on grass, so keep that in mind when it comes to heels. The average high/low temperature in Elk Rapids in September is 71°/50° F, and the sun will set around 8:00PM on our wedding day.

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed at White Birch Lodge (with the exception of service animals).
